ندا فاضلی کے شعر کا جواب

I can't wait for baby

Go forth and multiply, it says in the Old Testament. And Philip Sharp is not a man to question the word of the Lord.
The self-proclaimed rabbi recently celebrated the birth of two more babies by two of his 'wives' and is already looking forward to another new arrival - baby number 11 - in September.
At the last count Mr Sharp, whose bizarre living arrangements came to public attention two years ago, has ten children, seven wives and a mother-in-law to provide for.
The 48-year-old claims God told him he was an Old Testament king and he should increase the size of his family to strengthen his religious faith. So he decided to create a harem of devoted wives.
Rabbi Philip Sharp

Now the 'rampant rabbi', as he is known, has fathered ten children by four wives.
Although the marriages are not legally binding, Mr Sharp, who never uses contraception, believes the women become his wives when they sleep with him. He describes his lifestyle as a 'religious calling' but admits that it can be tough with so many mouths to feed.
Wife Margo, 40, gave birth to daughter Shayna three months ago while wife Vreni, 38, had a baby girl named Yanis on January 9.
And wife Tracey, 42, announced she was expecting two weeks ago and is due to give birth in September.
Mr Sharp, who claims £800 a month in child benefits, said the family struggled to make ends meet because his £60,000-a-year haulage business was suffering in the recession.

The full story on Philip Sharp is in Closer magazine
He said: 'Each child makes things a little tighter, but I won't stop having kids.
'We've had to make cutbacks and whenever another wife announces she's pregnant my initial reaction is always, "How will we cope financially?'' '
But despite the size of his enormous brood, who range in age from six years to two weeks, he owns up to not being a hands-on dad.
He lives in his own one-bedroom annexe next door to his family's four-bedroom farmhouse in Whatlington, East Sussex.
And although he decides who shares his bed each night, new mothers Vreni and Margo have not stayed over since the birth of their babies.
He said: 'I keep my distance from the wives for at least three weeks after they've given birth, according to the Jewish faith.'
Margo and Vreni are not offended. 'We really bonded while we were pregnant,' said Vreni, who is also mother to two-year-old Michal. 'If we have any problems we go to each other rather than bother Philip.'
Margo said: 'I'm proud of the four children I've had with Philip, but I don't want any more - I have too much work as it is.'
Mr Sharp was a rabbi at a Messianic Jewish synagogue in Hove, Sussex, when he left his first wife, with whom he has five children, in 1999 and ' married' his secretary Judith, 49.
Within three years he 'married' Margo, Tracey, Vreni, Hannah, 50, Chava, 64, and Karen, 29. Karen's mother Maureen later came to live with them.
He said: 'After 15 kids I'm used to the process, but I still get emotional and excited about getting to know someone new. I don't think Tracey's baby will be the last.
'It's not up to me to decide how many children we have. With God's blessing there will be many more.'

Polygamy isn’t legal in the U.S. But if it were, would you wanna get in on it?
According to a new survey, 93% of Americans say no. One-on-one marriage is good for them. Which means there are 7% of us who wouldn’t necessarily be polygamists, but aren’t willing to rule it out.
The survey also found that 18% of Americans think polygamy should be legal, and 28% think it should be legal if it’s part of your religious beliefs.
There’s also some confusion about whether it is part of anyone’s religious beliefs. 46% of Americans think Mormons are polygamous. But they haven’t been since 1890.

'My Five Wives': A Different Look at Modern Polygamy

Polygamy in America: Joe Darger and His 3 Wives

UK commits suicide: Muslims with multiple wives to get extra welfare benefits

UK commits suicide: Muslims with multiple wives to get extra welfare benefits

Polygamy is illegal in the United Kingdom under Section 57 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.

But the UK recognizes polygamy if the marriages were in countries where they are legal, i.e., Islamic countries. That means the UK recognizes the polygamous marriages of Muslim immigrants.

And so in 2008, the Blair government gave the go-ahead for husbands with multiple wives to claim extra welfare benefits, so long as the weddings had taken place in countries where polygamy is legal.

As if that isn’t bad enough, a new UK welfare reform will further reward polygamous Muslims with even more welfare benefits.

The reform is called Universal Credit, a well-intended effort to reform the UK’s broken welfare system where:

More than one in four working-age adults in the UK does not work.
Some 2.6 million people spent at least 5 years on some form of out-of-work benefit.
A fifth of families with children are in poverty at any one time.
Under the new welfare system, additional spouses of polygamous relationships will no longer be recognized. Alas, that new policy has an unintended consequence of actually giving polygamous Muslims even more welfare benefits because those additional wives now can claim welfare as single persons.

Simon Kent reports for Breitbart, Jan. 24, 2016, that at present, a polygamous husband and his first wife receive up to £114.85 in “income support,” while each additional wife receives a reduced allowance of about £40 each. But under the new Universal Credit welfare system, by not recognizing polygamous marriages, a man’s additional wives will each receive welfare as a single person — which is higher than what they now get in reduced allowance.

Meanwhile, as Breitbart London reported, last year Britain’s first female sharia law judge stated that the “government cannot ask Muslims not to have more than one wife”.

At the same time, as reported by the Times newspaper, Britain is experiencing a “surge” in Sharia marriages, as young British Muslims adopt a more hard line religious stance than their parents:

“As many as 100,000 couples are living in such [sharia] marriages, which are not valid under UK law, experts said…. A leading Islamic family lawyer warned that the increase in Sharia ceremonies among the 2.7 million-strong Muslim population in Britain was also behind a growth in ‘secret polygamy’.”

Attorney Aina Khan, an expert in Islamic family law, said that “Probably a quarter of all couples I see involve polygamy issues. There has been a huge rise in recent years because people can have a secret nikah [Islamic marriage] and no one will know about it.”

It has been claimed that Muslim men in Britain are having up to 20 children each because of polygamy and the rise of “religiously-sanctioned gender discrimination” under Sharia Law. Under Universal Credit, there will be more welfare benefits for those children, in addition to existing welfare called Child Benefit:

The Government is committed to providing the financial support less-well-off families need to cover children’s living costs. We will therefore include fixed amounts within Universal Credit to provide for these costs. The amounts will be based on those currently provided through Child Tax Credit. They will be additional to Child Benefit.
